Job Description

Do you love the atmosphere by the sea and enjoy working in a dynamic team? We are looking for a reliable waiter/waitress to join our restaurant right next to the campsite in Caminha (Praia Foz do Minho) as soon as possible.
What we offer:

Fair pay: Your salary will be based on the statutory minimum wage. On top of that, we pay a bonus of €100 to €200 net (depending on workload).
Predictable free time: You will have 1.5 consecutive days off each week so you can enjoy the natural surroundings and the beach in Caminha.
Clear timeframe: Employment is available immediately until the end of September or the end of October (depending on your preference).
Fair working hours: 40-hour week. Since we have regular opening hours, everything remains manageable (overtime may be required during the peak summer season).
Equipment: Through our Mainpeak Wingfoil & Mountainbike Center, we offer you top-of-the-line equipment for winging, SUPing, and biking.

Your tasks:

Independent management of the service area and professional handling of payments.
Responsibility for opening and closing, including securing the premises and preparing the dining area. Ensuring the highest service quality, guest satisfaction, and adherence to hygiene and cleanliness standards in the dining area.
Flexible working hours, primarily in the evenings (including closing time) and on weekends, either part-time or full-day.

What you should bring:

Experience in the hospitality industry and a passion for working with guests.
Reliability and resilience, even when things get hectic in the height of summer.
You are a team player and maintain a clear overview.
Languages: We are an international team; Portuguese language skills are required. Basic knowledge of English or German is desirable.
