IKO Kitesurf Instructor – Koh Phangan, Thailand

Dear instructors, 
Accrokite Koh Phangan is looking for 1 IKO and 1 IWO instructor speaking english, french, german, russian or Hebrew to join our team on Koh Phangan in Thailand. Our upcoming season starts middle of December, it will end middle of April. Then we have another season from July to end of August/September. If you wish to stay for 2 seasons or more, we provide a work permit which is valid 1 year. Visa is on your side, you will have to apply for the visa in a Thai embassy with the documents provided by my lawyer/accountant. 

We give 800 THB (22€) per hour (private class) and 1000 THB (28€) per hour (group of 2 person lesson), you will teach ~4 to 8h/day, so you get in average and minimum 88€ per windy day to a maximum of 172€ per windy day. We teach in groups of max 2 students or private lessons. Thai food is very cheap here 50 to 100 baths per meal (1.25€ to 2.50€). Accomodation between 10000 baths/month (280€) for a simple bungalow and 20000 baths (560€) for a nice house with kitchen. Instructors can use equipment of the school their convenience but they are responsible in case of damage. 
Here we have flat spots in 2 different lagoons of white sand protected by a coral reaf, clear water 30° all year. The depth is between 0,5m and 1,5m depending on the tide, super easy to teach as you can stand up everywhere on the spot. We are the only school on our spots so there is a lot of free space. Wind is between 10 and 15 knots, sometimes 20/25 and more. Wind is side-on with South-East direction from middle December to middle of April (main spot) and side-on with South-West direction from July to September (main spot). Then we have another spot in the North of the island at Wattana resort, Chaloklum beach with North-East wind (on-shore wind) from November/December to December/January. 
To reach Koh Phangan, I recommend you to land in Koh Samui, the island just opposite, you will only have one boat to take (30min crossing) to reach Koh Phangan. There are 2 other cheaper options which are landing in Surat Thani airport or Nakhon Si Tamarat airport with Air Asia or Nok air company but then you have a bus or taxi to reach Donsak pier and the boat crossing is longer, 1 to 2,5 hours depending on the company. There is also the option of taking a bus and boat from Bangkok, I recommend Lomprayah company, it's 12 hours of travel (Bangkok-Chumphon by bus, then Chumphon-Koh Tao-Koh Phangan by speed boat). You can even take the night train from Bangkok to Surat Thani train station, then taxi mini van to Donsak pier, then ferry boat (2,5h), also arround 12 hours of travel.
They recently opened a new international airport at Nakhon Si Tamarat which can save us from going through Bangkok with certain companies like Emirates (Nice-Dubai/Dubai-Nakhon Si Tamarat), Singapore Airlines (Paris-Singapore/Singapore-Nakhon Si Tamarat) so it is an additional option for you too. 
Once in Koh Phangan, I will pick you up if I'm available or you can take a taxi (100 baths) to reach the school which is located at Thong sala beach next to Slumber party hostel. Here is the link for the location :

Time to find a long term accommodation, you can stay a few days at Slumber hostel, they offer accommodation in bungalow 4 persons with bunk beds at the price of 400 baht/night/person, bungalows 8 people at the price of 300 baht/night/person, or private bungalows around 1000 baht/night. There are also more comfortable options at the V-view resort 2 star, the Sabaii Bay resort 3 star priced from 1000 to 2000 baht/night for a private bungalow.
