Paddlesports Instructor

Role Purpose
The Watersports Instructor delivers safe, engaging and confidence‑building watersports sessions as part of the CBK Adventures programmes. This role supports a wide range of participants including school groups, youth organisations, families and birthday parties, ensuring sessions are fun, well‑managed and delivered to high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver watersports sessions including stand‑up paddleboarding & kayaking
• Provide clear safety briefings and technical instruction
• Carry out dynamic risk assessments throughout sessions
• Support rescues and emergency responses as required
• Assist with daily equipment checks, storage and cleaning
• Create a positive, inclusive and encouraging environment
• Work collaboratively as part of the instructor team

Essential Requirements

• Paddlesport Instructor Qualification (PSI) / (ISA)
• First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
• Confidence working on and around water
• Strong communication and safety awareness

Desirable

• Paddlesport Leader (PSL) / (ISA)
• PSL Qualification or higher
• Experience delivering sessions to school or youth groups
