As the manager of our eFoil school at De Nieuwe Meer, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the school. Additionally, you’ll actively work to grow the school by developing new services and attracting new clients for both private lessons and corporate events. In this role, you’ll strategize how to make business processes as efficient as possible, enabling us to generate more revenue with fewer resources. You'll motivate and inspire instructors, ensuring a vibrant and enthusiastic pool of professionals is always ready to teach.
In addition to managing the school, you’ll take on the role of aftersales manager, ensuring our customers remain satisfied post-purchase. This involves being the point of contact for questions, solving problems, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- School Management: Oversee the operational management of the eFoil school in Amsterdam.
- Innovation: Develop new services and client-focused offerings to make our school more attractive.
- Client Acquisition: Attract new customers for both private lessons and corporate events.
- Business Optimization: Streamline business processes to generate more revenue.
- Instructor Management: Recruit, schedule, manage, and motivate eFoil instructors.
- Aftersales: Support customers post-purchase and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Teaching: Conduct clinics and lessons in a safe and responsible manner.
- Facility Management: Keep the school and its surroundings neat and welcoming.
- Administration: Manage bookings, payments, and reservations.
- Content Creation: Contribute to our social media with engaging content featuring clients and lessons.
Who We’re Looking For
- You have an affinity for sports and teaching/coaching in them (watersports such as sailing, (kite/wind)surfing, wakeboarding, or eFoiling are a plus).
- You’re young, ambitious, and energetic, with the drive to take the eFoil school to the next level.
- You can work independently and enjoy operating in a sporty, outdoor environment.
- You’re hands-on, practical, and organized, with strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- You’re flexible, customer-oriented, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
- You have relevant work experience from a previous job and/or a completed degree in sports (management), ALO, hospitality management, or a similar field.
- Availability on at least one weekend day (more is preferred).
Compensation
- Fixed and Variable Pay: Flexible work with performance-based variable pay.
- Contract Duration: A minimum 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
