About Us:
Rise with the Wind is a pioneering program designed to empower local women by providing them with the skills, know-how, and confidence to become entrepreneurs, leaders in the kite and wing foiling sector. The program also intends to advocate for coastal environmental stewardship and will expand opportunities for women in both sports and business. Through training in kitesurfing, English language, and business management, we aim to help women achieve economic independence, boost their confidence, and build a sustainable, inclusive kitesurfing community along Ceará’s stunning coastline.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and supportive Kitesurfing Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will not only be passionate about kitesurfing but also about teaching and mentoring. You will play a key role in developing participants’ skills in kitesurfing techniques and coaching, providing them with the tools needed to pursue careers as kitesurfing instructors and entrepreneurs in this growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and select the candidates

• Lead structured, high-quality kitesurfing lessons and coaching sessions

• Serve as a mentor and role model, fostering confidence, resilience, and professionalism.

• Collaborate with our program team to create a well-rounded curriculum, blending hands-on skills with foundational knowledge in sports and business.

• Manage all local operations and finance

Qualifications:

• Rich experience as a kitesurfing instructor (Instructor Level 1 minimum); wind foil expertise is a plus.

• Strong passion for teaching, mentoring, and empowering others.

• Ability to work with beginners and intermediate-level kitesurfers, creating a positive, supportive learning environment.

• Standard business skills to run an activity in large autonomy

• Professionalism, integrity, strong work ethics

• Good proficiency in English is preferred.
