The Adventure Awaits: Your Role As A Sailing Guru
As an RYA dinghy instructor with the Latchi Watersports group, you will play a pivotal role in introducing students to the joys of sailing, guiding them from basic techniques to advanced sailing skills. This position allows you to work in a dynamic outdoor setting, imparting your knowledge and promoting a safe, enjoyable learning environment.

• Main role: Conducting theoretical and practical sailing lessons for private individuals and small groups of all ages and skill levels. Many of our customers are children.
• Inspire Sailors: Planning and executing lesson plans that accommodate different learning styles and abilities.  Working as part of a team to ensure safe and fun learning for customers and safety of staff.
  
• Safety First: Maintaining and ensuring the quality of all sailing equipment and vessels, with frequent equipment checks. Adhering to all RYA safety standards and inhouse operating procedures.
• Skill Development: Providing positive and constructive feedback to students, fostering their development and confidence on the water.
• Team Player: Remaining flexible to regularly assist with other business activities as part of your daily role - watersports and boat rentals (full training provided).

This pivotal role requires a true professional with a passion for people and performance.

• Certification: Current RYA Dinghy Instructor (or equivalent) certification is essential.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year proven experience as a Dinghy Instructor.
• Expertise: Demonstrable experience in dinghy sailing and working in a team.
• Inspirational Communicator: Exceptional ability to engage, inspire and build rapport with students of all ages, excelling in small groups or one-to-one coaching.
• Safety Acumen: Impeccable knowledge of safety practices and the ability to effectively implement them under pressure.

Bonus Points: Multihull Instructor is ideal. Powerboat handling skills also a bonus.
