We are accepting applicatons for Station Manager of the newly opened Riah Kite Academy in El Gouna, Egypt.

Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Manage and oversee all operations at the water sports center, including rentals, lessons, reception, no wind activites and events. Manage and oversee operations of the retail shop.
• Maintain operational efficiency and ensure that the center meets revenue targets.
• Develop and implement systems to improve efficiency and customer service.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of water sports instructors, lifeguards, and customer service representatives.
• Schedule shifts and ensure proper staffing during peak and off-peak hours.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous coaching and development for staff.
• Customer Service: Ensure an outstanding guest experience by maintaining a welcoming and engaging environment.
• Address customer complaints, inquiries, and feedback promptly.
• Promote water sports programs, packages, and events to attract new and returning customers.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all water sports activities comply with local, national, and international safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety drills and ensure staff are well-trained in emergency procedures.
• Maintain equipment inspection logs and ensure that all water sports gear and equipment are in excellent working condition.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and ensure adherence to safety guidelines for guests and staff.
• Communicating and collaborating with the company owners

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in managing a watersports center or a comparable position in the tourism or leisure industry
• Extensive knowledge in kitesurfing, wingfoiling, and wing
• Strong leadership skills and experience in team management
• High level of responsibility, organizational talent, and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
• Good English skills; additional languages such as German, French, or Portuguese are an advantage
• Resilience, flexibility, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
